Protagent SE Augentropfen werden zur Befeuchtung der Augen und zur Behandlung leichter Augenreizungen angewendet.

Auf Empfehlung des Arztes, Apothekers oder Drogisten bzw. der Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin können Protagent SE Augentropfen auch bei «trockenen Augen» verschiedener Ursachen angewendet werden.

+-Wann dürfen Protagent SE Augentropfen nicht angewendet werden?

Bei bekannter oder vermuteter Überempfindlichkeit (Allergie) auf einen Inhaltsstoff oder Hilfsstoff von Protagent SE Augentropfen.

+-Wann ist bei der Anwendung von Protagent SE Augentropfen Vorsicht geboten?
  • Wenn nach 2-3 Tagen keine Besserung der Augenbeschwerden eingetreten ist, bitte Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin konsultieren.
  • Kommt es zu einer Verschlechterung oder treten neue Beschwerden auf (z.B. eine Abnahme der Sehschärfe, Augenschmerzen, Tränenfluss, Augenrötungen) ist unverzüglich Ihr Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin aufzusuchen.

Kontaktlinsenträger

Protagent SE Augentropfen sind konservierungsmittelfrei und somit besonders für Kontaktlinsenträger und Personen mit einer Ueberempfindlichkeit auf Konservierungsstoffe geeignet.

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin wenn sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder am Auge anwenden.

+-Dürfen Protagent SE Augentropfen während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit angewendet werden?

Anwendung der Tropfen nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.

+-Wie verwenden Sie Protagent SE Augentropfen?
  • Erwachsene: Im allgemeinen 4-5× täglich 1 Tropfen in das betroffene Auge einträufeln.
  • Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Protagent SE Augentropfen bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht systematisch geprüft worden.
  • Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
+-Welche Nebenwirkungen können Protagent SE Augentropfen haben?

Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Protagent SE Augentropfen auftreten:

Ueberempfindlichkeitsreaktionen (siehe auch unter «Wann ist bei der Anwendung von Protagent SE Augentropfen Vorsicht geboten?»)

Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.

Hinweise für die Handhabung

Der Inhalt eines Einmaldosenbehälters ist ausreichend für eine Anwendung, d.h. zum einmaligen Einträufeln in beide Augen (nach der Anwendung allfällige restliche Augentropfen im geöffneten Einmaldosenbehälter aus Sterilitätsgründen nicht mehr verwenden).

Haltbarkeit

Den Inhalt eines ungeöffneten Einmaldosenbehälters nur bis zum Verfalldatum (Aussenverpackung: «Verwendbar bis», Einmaldosenbehälter: «Exp.») anwenden.

Besondere Lagerungshinweise:

Bei Zimmertemperatur (15-25 °C), vor möglicher Wärme- und Lichteinwirkung geschützt und ausser Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren.

Nach Beendigung der Behandlung allfällige restliche Einmaldosenbehälter Ihrer Abgabestelle (Arzt, Apotheke oder Drogerie) zur fachgerechten Entsorgung bringen.
