Schweden-Mixtur «H» ist ein Abführmittel auf pflanzlicher Basis. Die natürlichen Wirkstoffe (Anthrachinone) bewirken eine Stimulation der Darmtätigkeit.
Dieses Mittel kann kurzfristig bei gelegentlicher Verstopfung angewendet werden.
Wenn Sie an Verstopfung leiden, sollten Sie ballaststoffreiche Nahrung (Gemüse, Früchte, Vollkornbrot) sowie viel und regelmässig Flüssigkeit einnehmen und auf körperliche Betätigung (Sport) achten!
Bei Erkrankung des Magen-Darm-Traktes darf das Präparat nicht eingenommen werden.
Für Diabetiker nicht geeignet.
Für Jugendliche, Kinder, Schwangere und Stillende nicht geeignet.
Das Präparat darf nur gelegentlich und nicht länger als 1 bis 2 Wochen eingenommen werden. Langzeitbehandlungen gehören unter ärztliche Kontrolle.
Bei chronischem Gebrauch/Missbrauch oder Anwendung höherer als der empfohlenen Dosen können Durchfälle mit Wasserverlust und Störungen des Salzhaushaltes (insbesondere Kaliumverlust) auftreten. Deshalb ist besondere Vorsicht geboten bei Patienten die gleichzeitig bestimmte wassertreibende Medikamente (Diuretika), Arzneimittel mit Süssholzwurzel, Kortikosteroide, gewisse Antihistaminika (wie Terfenadin), Arzneimittel bei Herzmuskelschwäche (Herzglykoside wie Digoxin) sowie bestimmte Arzneimittel bei Herzrhytmusstörungen (Antirrhythmika) einnehmen.
Dieses Arzneimittel enthält 15% Vol Alkohol. Bei Beachtung der empfohlenen Dosierung werden bei jeder Einnahme bis zu 1,2 g Alkohol zugeführt. Ein gesundheitliches Risiko besteht u.a. für Leberkranke, Epileptiker, Hirngeschädigte, Schwangere und Stillende. Die Wirkung anderer Medikamente kann verstärkt oder beeinträchtigt werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Schweden-Mixtur «H» neue Formulierung ist während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit nicht geeignet.
Erwachsene: 5?10 ml abends mit etwas Wasser verdünnt vor dem Schlafengehen mit dem beiliegenden Messbecher einnehmen. (Wirkungseintritt nach ca. 8 Stunden).
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu stark oder zu schwach, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
In seltenen Fällen kann das Präparat Blähungen oder Bauchkrämpfe verursachen.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Gelegentlich auftretende Braunfärbung des Urins ist harmloser Natur. Das Präparat enthält Alkohol. Die Motorfahrzeuglenkung kann beeinträchtigt werden.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
