Solarcaïne Lotion ist ein lokal schmerzlinderndes und juckreizstillendes Präparat und wird angewendet bei leichten, mit Sonnenbrand verbundenen Läsionen, bei Insektenstichen, bei Hautschürfungen und Hautreizungen sowie bei Verbrennungen ersten Grades (leichte Verbrennungen).

Solarcaïne lässt sich leicht auf die Haut auftragen, fettet und fleckt nicht.

+-Wann darf Solarcaïne nicht angewendet werden?

Wenn Sie an einer Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber den Inhaltsstoffen leiden, sollten Sie Solarcaïne nicht anwenden.

Solarcaïne soll nicht angewendet werden bei Hautverletzungen oder nässenden Hauterscheinungen.

+-Wann ist bei der Anwendung von Solarcaïne Vorsicht geboten?

Solarcaïne darf bei Säuglingen und Kindern unter 2 Jahren nur auf Anweisung und unter Überwachung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin angewendet werden.

Solarcaïne soll nicht in die Augen oder in den Mund gelangen.

Beim Auftreten einer Reizung oder eines Hautausschlages sollte die Anwendung unterbrochen werden. Solarcaïne soll nicht grossflächig oder über eine längere Zeitperiode angewendet werden. Bei eitrigen und infizierten Wunden sollten Sie den Arzt bzw. die Ärztin konsultieren. Das Risiko einer Absorption durch die Haut wird im Fall von Hautentzündungen (z. B. Sonnenbrand) erhöht.

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!

+-Darf Solarcaïne während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit angewendet werden?

Es sind keine kontrollierte Studie bei schwangeren Frauen verfügbar. Aus diesem Grund sollte Solarcaïne während der Schwangerschaft mit Vorsicht angewendet werden. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.

Lidocain tritt in die Muttermilch über und Solarcaïne sollte deshalb während der Stillzeit nicht angewendet werden.

+-Wie verwenden Sie Solarcaïne?

Falls nicht anders vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verordnet:

Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 2 Jahren: Mehrmals täglich in dünner Schicht auf die betroffenen Hautpartien auftragen.

Säuglinge und Kinder unter 2 Jahren: Solarcaïne darf nur auf Anweisung und unter Überwachung des Arztes bzw. der Ärztin angewendet werden.

Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.

+-Welche Nebenwirkungen kann Solarcaïne haben?

Solarcaïne kann bei überempfindlicher Haut eine Reizung oder allergische Reaktionen hervorrufen. In diesem Falle sollten Sie dieses Mittel nicht mehr verwenden.

Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.

Solarcaïne ist bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) und ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren. Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
