Ein gesundheitliches Risiko besteht u.a. für Leberkranke, Alkoholkranke, Epileptiker, Hirngeschädigte, Schwangere, Stillende sowie für Kinder beim Überschreiten der speziellen Kinderdosis. Die Wirkung anderer Arzneimittel kann verstärkt oder beeinträchtigt werden.

Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) und vor Kindern geschützt aufbewahren.
