Telfastin Allergo ist ein Antihistaminikum. Es dient zur Behandlung von Heuschnupfen und wirkt gegen deren Krankheitszeichen wie Niesen, brennende, wässrige oder gerötete Augen, gereizte Nasen- oder Rachenschleimhaut, verstopfte Nase.
Personen mit einer bekannten Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Bestandteile der Telfastin Allergo Filmtabletten dürfen Telfastin Allergo nicht einnehmen.
Kinder unter 12 Jahren dürfen Telfastin Allergo nicht einnehmen.
Es wird empfohlen, magensäurehemmende Präparate mit Aluminium- und Magnesiumhydroxid zwei Stunden getrennt von Telfastin Allergo einzunehmen.
Spezielle Untersuchungen (z.B. Fahrtest) haben gezeigt, dass Telfastin Allergo die Leistungs- und Konzentrationsfähigkeit in der Regel ebenso wenig beeinträchtigt und ebenso wenig müde oder schläfrig macht wie Placebo (Tabletten ohne Wirkstoff). Bei besonders empfindlichen Personen ist jedoch vorher die individuelle Reaktion auf Telfastin Allergo zu überprüfen.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder, andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden.
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Während der Schwangerschaft und der Stillzeit sollen Sie Telfastin Allergo nur auf ärztlichem Rat einnehmen.
Telfastin Allergo 120: 1× 1 Filmtablette (120 mg) täglich einnehmen (vorzugsweise morgens).
Ändern Sie nicht von sich aus die vorgeschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme oder Anwendung von Telfastin Allergo auftreten:
Gelegentlich treten Kopfschmerzen, Müdigkeit, Schläfrigkeit, Übelkeit, Durchfall, Mundtrockenheit, Schwindel, Tachykardie und Herzklopfen; selten Schlaflosigkeit, Nervosität, Schlafstörungen oder Alpträume auf. Die Häufigkeit dieser mit Telfastin Allergo beobachteten Nebenwirkungen entspricht derjenigen die unter einer Behandlung mit Placebo (Tabletten ohne Wirkstoff) beobachtet wird.
In seltenen Fällen wurde über Hautausschläge, Nesselsucht, Juckreiz und über Überempfindlichkeitsreaktionen, die sich durch Ödeme (Wasseransammlung im Gewebe), Atemnot, Brustenge oder Hautrötung mit Hitzegefühl manifestieren, berichtet.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Telfastin Allergo bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) aufbewahren und vor Kindern sichern.
Diese Arzneimitteln dürfen nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
