Terbinafin-Mepha Crème ist ein Arzneimittel  zur Behandlung von Pilzinfektionen der Haut, verursacht durch Fadenpilze, wie z.B. Fusspilz, oberflächliche Hautpilzerkrankungen, Pityriasis versicolor.

Die Crème ist zusätzlich wirksam gegen Pilzinfektionen verursacht durch Hefen (Hautcandidosen).

Unter der Behandlung mit Terbinafin-Mepha Crème klingen allgemeine Symptome wie Juckreiz, Schuppung und Rötung ab. Die meisten Patienten mit Fusspilz zeigten 2 Monate nach einer einwöchigen Behandlung mit einer Terbinafin Crème mit gleicher Wirkstoffkonzentration keinen Rückfall.

+-Was sollte dazu beachtet werden?

Zur Verhinderung von Pilzinfektionen sollten Sie einige Regeln beachten:

  • Kleidungsstücke, die mit der erkrankten Haut in Kontakt kommen, täglich wechseln.
  • Eng anliegende und wenig luftdurchlässige Kleidung vermeiden.
  • Nach dem Waschen die Haut sorgfältig trocknen.
  • Handtücher täglich wechseln.
  • Bei Fusspilz nicht barfuss gehen, täglich Strümpfe und Schuhe innen mit einem gegen Pilzinfektionen wirksamen Puder bestreuen oder mit einem Spray besprü­hen.
  • Hände nach der Anwendung und nach Kontakt mit den erkrankten Hautstellen gut waschen. Damit kann die Weiterverbreitung der Pilzinfektion verhindert werden.
+-Wann darf Terbinafin-Mepha Crème nicht angewendet werden?

Terbinafin-Mepha Crème darf nicht angewendet werden bei Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber dem Wirkstoff von Terbinafin-Mepha Crème oder einem enthaltenen Hilfsstoff.Terbinafin-Mepha Crème wurde für die Anwendung bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren nicht geprüft. Die Anwendung von Terbinafin-Mepha Crème bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren wird mangels klinischer Erfahrung nicht empfohlen.

+-Wann ist bei der Anwendung von Terbinafin-Mepha Crème Vorsicht geboten?

Terbinafin-Mepha Crème ist nur für den äusserlichen Gebrauch bestimmt; sie darf nicht in die Augen gelangen. Falls das Präparat trotzdem mit den Augen in Kontakt kommt, sind die Augen sofort mit fliessendem Wasser gut auszuspülen. Konsultieren Sie Ihren Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin, falls die Beschwerden nicht verschwinden.

Terbinafin-Mepha Crème enthält Cetyl- und Cetostearylalkohol, welche lokale Hautreaktionen verursachen können.

Bei ausgedehntem Pilzbefall oder Mitbefall der Nägel ist der Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin aufzusuchen.

Auf die behandelten Hautstellen keine anderen Arzneimittel auftragen.

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie

  • an anderen Krankheiten leiden,

Schwangerschaft

Während der Schwangerschaft darf Terbinafin-Mepha Crème nicht angewendet werden, ausser auf ausdrückliche ärztliche Verschreibung. Wenn Sie eine Schwangerschaft planen, sollten Sie Terbinafin-Mepha Crème nur nach ärztlicher Rücksprache anwenden.

Stillzeit

Während der Stillzeit darf Terbinafin-Mepha Crème nicht angewendet werden. Kleinkinder dürfen mit den behandelten Hautstellen nicht in Kontakt kommen.

+-Wie verwenden Sie Terbinafin-Mepha Crème?

Vor der Anwendung von Terbinafin-Mepha Crème sind die betroffenen Hautstellen mit einem Wattebausch und warmem Wasser gründlich zu reinigen und abzutrocknen.

Erwachsene und Kinder ab 12 Jahren:

Terbinafin-Mepha Crème kann ein- oder zweimal täglich - morgens und/oder abends - appliziert werden. Terbinafin-Mepha Crème muss auf die erkrankten und angrenzenden Hautpartien dünn aufgetragen und leicht eingerieben werden.

Übliche Behandlungsschemata:

Fusspilz, oberflächliche Hautpilzerkrankungen: 1 Woche 1× täglich.

Fusspilz vom «Mokassin»-Typ (Fusspilz an den Fusssohlen und der Fusskante): 2 Wochen 2× täglich.

Pilzinfektionen durch Hefen: 1 Woche 1?2× täglich.

Pityriasis versicolor: 2 Wochen 1?2× täglich.

Halten Sie sich, um Rückfälle zu vermeiden, an die genannte Anwendungsdauer.

Sind nach 1 Woche keine Anzeichen einer Besserung festzustellen, ist ein Arzt oder eine Ärztin zu konsultieren.

Halten Sie sich an die in dieser Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.

+-Welche Nebenwirkungen kann Terbinafin-Mepha Crème haben?

Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von  Terbinafin-Mepha Crème auftreten:

Häufige Nebenwirkungen sind Hautschuppung und Juckreiz. Gelegentlich kann es zu Hautreizungen, Pigmentstörungen, Rötungen, Brennen auf der Haut, Schmerzen oder Irritationen an der  Applikationsstelle kommen. Selten sind trockene Haut und Ekzem.

Wenn Terbinafin-Mepha Crème versehentlich mit den Augen in Kontakt kommt, können Irritationen am Auge auftreten (siehe «Wann ist bei der Anwendung von Terbinafin-Mepha Crème Vorsicht geboten?»)

Stoppen Sie die Behandlung mit Terbinafin-Mepha Crème und informieren Sie sofort Ihren Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin, wenn bei Ihnen eines oder mehrere der folgenden Symptome auftreten, die Zeichen einer allergischen Reaktion sein können:

  • Atem- oder Schluckprobleme,
  • Schwellung im Gesicht, an Lippen, Zunge oder Rachen,
  • starker Juckreiz der Haut mit rotem Ausschlag oder Blasen.

Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
