+-Was ist Transipeg Forte und wann wird es angewendet?

Transipeg Forte ist ein Darmregulans, bestehend aus Macrogol und Salzen, das eine Stuhlregulierung bei Verstopfung gewährleistet. Macrogol ist ein unverdaulicher Stoff, der Wasser an sich bindet. Ohne den Darm zu reizen, wird dadurch die Darmtätigkeit angeregt, der Stuhl weicher und gleitfähiger. Der Stuhlgang wird somit erleichtert. Die Menge der Salze entspricht etwa derjenigen, die im Blut enthalten ist (iso-osmotisch). Nach Auflösung von Transipeg Forte ergibt sich somit eine iso-osmotische Trinklösung. Dieser Ausgleich verhindert einen Wasser- und Salzverlust. Transipeg Forte wird zur Regulierung des Stuhlgangs bei Darmträgheit (Obstipation) und Verstopfung verschiedener Herkunft eingesetzt.

+-Was sollte dazu beachtet werden?

Wenn Sie an Verstopfung leiden, sollten Sie ballaststoffreiche Nahrung (Gemüse, Früchte, Vollkornbrot) sowie viel und regelmässig Flüssigkeit zu sich nehmen und auf körperliche Betätigung (Sport) achten.

Patienten und Patientinnen mit salzarmer Diät sollten den Salzgehalt (ca. 290 mg pro Sachet) berücksichtigen. Transipeg Forte ist zucker- und kalorienfrei. Es ist für Diabetiker sowie für Patienten und Patientinnen mit Galaktoseintoleranz geeignet.

+-Wann darf Transipeg Forte nicht eingenommen werden?

Transipeg Forte darf bei entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen, Darmverschluss sowie Verengungen in der Speiseröhre, im Magen oder Darm sowie bei Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe nicht eingenommen werden. Wenn Sie oft Bauchschmerzen unbekannter Herkunft haben, dürfen Sie Transipeg Forte nur nach Einwilligung Ihres Arztes/Ihrer Ärztin einnehmen. Patienten und Patientinnen mit der Stoffwechselstörung Phenylketonurie dürfen das Präparat nicht einnehmen.

+-Wann ist bei der Einnahme von Transipeg Forte Vorsicht geboten?

Patienten und Patientinnen, die Transipeg Forte das erste Mal anwenden, sollten einen Arzt/eine Ärztin konsultieren, wenn nach 2 Wochen keine Besserung eintritt.

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden, Allergien haben oder andere Arzneimittel (auch selbstgekaufte) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!

+-Darf Transipeg Forte während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit eingenommen werden?

Auf Grund der bisherigen Erfahrung ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt oder den Apotheker bzw. die Ärztin oder die Apothekerin um Rat fragen.

Der Wirkstoff wird vom Verdauungstrakt nicht aufgenommen und geht demzufolge nicht in den Blutkreislauf oder die Muttermilch über.

Transipeg Forte kann in der Stillzeit eingenommen werden.

+-Wie verwenden Sie Transipeg Forte?

Erwachsene: Je nach Schwere der Verstopfung nehmen Sie morgens den Inhalt von 1 bis 2 Beuteln ein. Der Inhalt eines Beutels Transipeg Forte muss vor der Einnahme in 100 ml Wasser aufgelöst werden. Gut rühren! Die Wirkung tritt nach 24 bis 48 Stunden ein.

Transipeg Forte ist nur für die Anwendung bei Erwachsenen bestimmt. Für Kinder und Jugendliche steht das niedriger dosierte Transipeg (2,95 g pro Beutel) zur Verfügung.

Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.

+-Welche Nebenwirkungen kann Transipeg Forte haben?

Eine zu hohe Dosierung von Transipeg Forte kann Durchfall, Übelkeit und Erbrechen verursachen. Diese Nebenwirkungen klingen nach 24 bis 48 Stunden wieder ab. Danach kann die Therapie mit einer reduzierten Dosis weitergeführt werden. Gelegentlich haben Patientinnen und Patienten, insbesondere diejenigen mit überempfindlichem Dickdarm, über Bauchschmerzen berichtet. Sehr selten wurde über allergische Reaktionen berichtet.

Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.

Bei Raumtemperatur (15?25 °C) lagern.
