+-Was ist Venoruton forte und wann wird es angewendet?

Venoruton forte enthält O-(?-Hydroxyethyl)-rutosid, das zur Normalisierung der Funktion der kleinsten Blutgefässe (Kapillaren) beiträgt, indem es den Widerstand ihrer Wand erhöht und ihre Durchlässigkeit vermindert. Bei Patienten, die an Krampfadern oder bestimmten anderen Erkrankungen der Beinvenen leiden, verlieren diese kleinen Gefässe zu viel Wasser, wodurch die Knöchel anschwellen.

Venoruton forte bringt Erleichterung, indem es diese Anschwellung vermindert und die im Allgemeinen damit einhergehenden Symptome, wie schmerzende, müde oder schwere Beine und Krämpfe, lindert. Auf Empfehlung eines Arztes, Apothekers oder Drogisten bzw. einer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin kann Venoruton forte auch bei Hämorrhoiden angewendet werden. Bei Hämorrhoiden bewirkt Venoruton forte ein rasches und anhaltendes Abschwellen der Schleimhaut des Afters und lindert die Symptome, wie Schmerzen, Nässen, Juckreiz und Blutungen.

Das Präparat kann auf Empfehlung eines Arztes bzw. einer Ärztin ferner im Falle von Nebenerscheinungen nach Strahlentherapie sowie bei gewissen Erkrankungen der Netzhaut (z.B. bei diabetischer Retinopathie) angewendet werden.

+-Was sollte dazu beachtet werden?

Um die Symptome von Krampfadern zu lindern, empfiehlt es sich, die Beine im Verlaufe des Tages so oft wie möglich hochzulagern und das Fussende des Bettes etwas anzuheben. Das Tragen von elastischen Stützen (meist Strümpfe) ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen.

+-Wann darf Venoruton forte nicht angewendet werden?

Wenn Sie auf den Wirkstoff O-(?-Hydroxyethyl)-rutosid, ähnliche Stoffe oder einen Hilfsstoff empfindlich sind, dürfen Sie Venoruton forte nicht anwenden. Während der ersten drei Monate der Schwangerschaft dürfen Sie Venoruton forte nicht einnehmen. Ihr Arzt bzw. Ihre Ärztin weiss, was in solchen Fällen zu tun ist.

+-Wann ist bei der Einnahme von Venoruton forte Vorsicht geboten?

Bei Fortdauern der Beschwerden oder bei Verschlechterung der Symptome muss ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin konsultiert werden.

Wenn Sie aufgrund einer Herz-, Nieren- oder Lebererkrankung geschwollene Beine haben, sollten Sie Venoruton nicht anwenden, da bei diesen Patienten die Wirksamkeit nicht überprüft wurde.

Die Anwendung von Venoruton wird bei Kindern und Jugendlichen nicht empfohlen.

In seltenen Fällen wurde nach Anwendung von Venoruton über Müdigkeit, Schwindel und Kopfschmerzen berichtet. Wenn Sie sich schwindlig oder müde fühlen oder Kopfschmerzen haben, sollten Sie kein Fahrzeug lenken und keine Maschinen bedienen.

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie

  • an anderen Krankheiten leiden,
  • Allergien haben oder
  • andere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte!) einnehmen oder äusserlich anwenden!
+-Darf Venoruton forte während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit eingenommen werden?

In der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit sollten Sie Venoruton forte nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt bzw. Ihrer Ärztin einnehmen. Während der ersten drei Monate der Schwangerschaft dürfen Sie Venoruton forte nicht einnehmen. Sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer Ärztin, wenn Sie schwanger sind, es werden möchten oder wenn Sie stillen.

+-Wie verwenden Sie Venoruton forte?

Erwachsene:

2-mal täglich 1 Tablette Venoruton forte zu den Mahlzeiten. Eine Linderung der Symptome tritt üblicherweise innerhalb von 2 Wochen ein. Danach kann die Behandlung abgebrochen werden (die Besserung hält üblicherweise während mindestens 4 Wochen nach Absetzen des Präparates an) und kann bei erneuter Verstärkung der Symptome wieder wie oben beschrieben aufgenommen werden.

Kinder und Jugendliche:

Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Venoruton bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden. Deshalb wird die Anwendung von Venoruton bei Kindern und Jugendlichen nicht empfohlen.

Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.

Halten Sie sich bei Strahlentherapie oder Netzhautkrankheiten an die Vorschrift Ihres Arztes bzw. Ihrer Ärztin.

+-Welche Nebenwirkungen kann Venoruton forte haben?

Wie alle Arzneimittel kann Venoruton forte Nebenwirkungen verursachen, die aber nicht bei jedem auftreten müssen. Die Nebenwirkungen sind meistens milder Art.

Einige Patienten können auf dieses Präparat allergisch reagieren und folgende Reaktionen zeigen: Atem- oder Schluckschwierigkeiten, Schwellung an Gesicht, Lippen, Zunge oder Rachen, starker Juckreiz mit rotem Hautausschlag, Nesselsucht oder Quaddelbildung. Wenn Sie solche Reaktionen bemerken, sollten Sie die Therapie abbrechen und ärztlichen Rat einholen.

Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Einnahme von Venoruton auftreten:

Selten (bei 1 bis 10 von 10'000 Behandelten): Magen-Darm-Störungen (einschliesslich Blähungen, Durchfall, Bauchschmerzen, Magenbeschwerden, Verdauungsstörungen) oder Juckreiz.

Sehr selten (bei weniger als 1 von 10'000 Behandelten): Schwindel, Kopfschmerzen, Müdigkeit, Hitzewallungen.

Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.

Arzneimittel sollen für Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahrt werden.

Vor Feuchtigkeit geschützt bei 15?30 °C lagern.
