Vibrocil enthält einen milden abschwellenden Wirkstoff sowie ein Antihistaminikum. Vibrocil bringt eine rasche und anhaltende Linderung bei angeschwollener Nasenschleimhaut (verstopfter Nase) und Nasenlaufen.
Vibrocil eignet sich für die kurzfristige Behandlung der verstopften Nase und Juckreiz wie z.B. bei Erkältung, Sinusitis (Nasennebenhöhlenentzündung), Heuschnupfen, allergischer nicht saisonbedingter Rhinitis (Nasenschleimhautentzündung, z.B. ausgelöst durch Hausstaub, Tierhaare, Schimmel).
Auf ärztliche Verschreibung kann Vibrocil auch vor oder nach einer Operation und als unterstützendes Arzneimittel bei der Behandlung von akuten Mittelohrentzündungen eingesetzt werden.
Vibrocil Gel ist besonders angezeigt bei trockener Nasenschleimhaut, bei Krustenbildung und Folgen von Nasenverletzungen sowie zur Erleichterung der Nasenatmung während der Nacht.
In folgenden Fällen darf Vibrocil nicht angewendet werden:
Vibrocil sollte nicht länger als 3 Tage ununterbrochen angewendet werden. Wenn nach 3 Tagen keine Besserung eintritt oder wenn sich die Symptome verschlimmern, sollten Sie ärztlichen Rat einholen. Bei längerem oder übermässigem Gebrauch, kann eine chronische Entzündung der Nasenschleimhaut auftreten (Rhinitis medicamentosa).
Wie bei allen Schnupfenmitteln (Rhinologika) mit gefässverengender Komponente, kann Vibrocil bei empfindlichen Personen Schlafstörungen, Benommenheit und Zittern verursachen.
Vibrocil ist nicht für die Anwendung in Mund oder in Augen bestimmt.
Die verordnete Dosis darf insbesondere bei Kleinkindern und betagten Personen nicht überschritten werden.
Vibrocil Gel wird bei Kindern unter 6 Jahren nicht empfohlen.
Bei Kindern im Alter zwischen 2 und 6 Jahren sind Vibrocil Nasentropfen zu verwenden.
Vibrocil sollte bei Kindern unter Aufsicht Erwachsener angewendet werden.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, wenn Sie
Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden nie durchgeführt. Vibrocil sollte deshalb vorsichtshalber während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit nicht angewendet werden.
Nase gründlich reinigen (z.B. Schnäuzen) und 3? bis 4?mal täglich eine kleine Menge des Gels möglichst tief in jede Nasenöffnung einbringen. Eine letzte Anwendung vor dem Schlafengehen erleichtert die Nasenatmung während der Nacht.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihrer Ärztin oder Apothekerin.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Vibrocil auftreten: In seltenen Fällen (bei 1 von 1'000 Patienten) kann ein lokales und vorübergehendes Brennen oder Trockenheit der Nase sowie Nasenbluten auftreten.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
