Zeller Balsam, Salbe enthält in einer Salbengrundlage die Kombination entzündungs-hemmender und die Wundheilung fördernder Stoffe, nämlich Zellerbalsam-Extrakt, Perubalsam, Zinkoxid, Lärchenterpentin und Kampfer.
Zeller Balsam Salbe wird verwendet zur symptomatischen Behandlung von Schürf- und Quetschwunden, Hautrissen an den Händen, oberflächlichen Verbrennungs- und Verbrühungswunden kleineren Umfanges, Brandblasen, Insektenstichen und Wolf.
Zeller Balsam, Salbe darf nicht angewendet werden bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe (siehe «Was ist in Zeller Balsam, Salbe enthalten?»).
Zeller Balsam, Salbe darf nicht geschluckt werden. Kontakt mit Augen, Nase und Mund ist zu vermeiden.
Bei Wunden oder Hautaffektionen mit starker Entzündung, deren Verlauf chronisch ist, soll der Arzt oder die Ärztin konsultiert werden.
Nur äusserlich anwenden. Konsultieren Sie sofort einen Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin, wenn Ihr Kind versehentlich Zeller Balsam, Salbe verschluckt hat.
Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie
Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Zeller Balsam, Salbe sollte daher während der Schwangerschaft und in der Stillzeit nicht angewendet werden, es sei denn es ist klar notwendig.
Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen.
Erwachsene: Die Salbe bis dreimal täglich in dünner Schicht auf die verletzte oder erkrankte Hautstelle auftragen.
Es kann auch eine Salbenkompresse zubereitet werden. Die Salbe wird dafür 2-3 mm dick auf Verbandstoff aufgetragen. Die so hergestellte Salbenkompresse wird auf die Wunde oder die entzündete Hautstelle aufgelegt und durch einen Verband oder ein Pflaster festgehalten. Der Verband mit der Wundheilsalbe soll zumindest täglich erneuert werden.
Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Zeller Balsam, Salbe bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden.
Folgende Nebenwirkungen können bei der Anwendung von Zeller Balsam, Salbe auftreten: Allergische Hautrötungen und -jucken. In diesem Fall ist die Anwendung abzubrechen und gegebenenfalls ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin aufzusuchen.
Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken, die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit «EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Bei Raumtemperatur (15-25 °C) in der Originalverpackung aufbewahren.
Das Arzneimittel ist ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren.
Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen Ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
1 Gramm Salbe enthält 50 mg Zellerbalsam (Flüssigextrakt (1:12) aus Benzoe, Tolubalsam, Myrrhe, Weihrauch, Klatschmohnblüte, Wermutkraut, Schafgarbenkraut, Guajakholz und Tormentillwurzel), Auszugsmittel Alkohol 43% m/m, 23 mg Perubalsam, 10 mg Kampfer, 31 mg Zinkoxid, 13 mg Lärchenterpentin.
Dieses Präparat enthält zusätzlich Hilfsstoffe, u.a. Wollfett und das Konservierungsmittel Octylgallat (E 311).
